A flat iron-shaped vaseline glass candy box from the 1880’s. The color is yellow and it tests positive under a blacklight for true vaseline glass. Very lovely, however the lid is missing from this candy box. It is iron shaped with a diamond design bottom. It sits on 3 feet and has a scalloped base. Large tabbed handle. Nice detail. Shiny and lovely pale yellow color. Two small air bubbles near tip.
Measures: 9″ X 5 1/4″ X 2″.
Condition: In great used condition. No chips, cracks or damage. A slight imperfection on interior side. Appears original.
From a serious antique glass collector. Brilliantly lovely piece.
